IF our government officials really cared about our health THEN:

We would have universal heath care.

Every food grown and sold in this country would be organic.

The health care industry would NOT be FOR profit, not the hospitals and not the insurance companies.

The people hired to run the agencies that are supposed to safeguard us would not all be from industries and companies that go out of their to harm us – like Monsanto.

The Supreme Court wouldn’t be making rulings that protect pharmaceutical companies at our expense.  We can’t sue companies that harm us if the FDA approved of the shit they make.

The Supreme Court wouldn’t make rulings like in the Hobby Lobby case which disallowed women getting contraceptives through employer health insurance.

The Environmental Protection Agency would truly safeguard our national resources: air, water, earth and not cater to businesses that seek to pollute everything.

The companies that pollute would be shut down, heavily fined and made to clean up their mess forthwith, not years down the road.

There would be absolutely no factory farms.
